KITTEN WELLNESS PLAN
Congratulations on your new kitten! Each kitten has different risks of exposure to contagious diseases. Only your veterinarian can make specific recommendations needed to keep your kitten healthy and happy. Your new kitten will need three initial visits to start their preventative health care plan as outlined below.
1st Kitten Visit (6-8 weeks old)
- Physical Exam
- Feline Leukemia testing
- FVRCP(Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia Vaccine)
- FELV(Feline Leukemia Vaccine)
- Deworming
- Flea Preventative
- Fecal test for intestinal parasites
2nd Kitten Visit (9-11 weeks old)
- Physical Exam
- FVRCP(Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia Vaccine)
- FELV(Feline Leukemia Vaccine)
- Deworming
- Fecal test for intestinal parasites
3rd Kitten Visit (12-14 weeks old)
- Physical Exam
- FVRCP(Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia Vaccine)
- Rabies Vaccine (1 Year)
- Deworming
Spaying(female) or Neuter (male) at six months of age.
Before you bring your kitten in for their first appointment, you may view and print the Kitten Wellness Chart and bring it in with you at the time of your visit.
