We are excited to introduce Academy Animal Hospitals "Chum Cat Memorial Fund".
The fund has been named in memory of our beloved cat, Chum, who graced this hospital for 18 years until his passing in 2015.
Our Mission:
Financial hardship should not determine if a pet receives essential veterinary care. We have partnered with the AVMA and its 501c3 charitable organization to create a fund enabling our doctors to treat animals that require medical care beyond the owner's financial resources.
Imagine if you were unable to afford the cost of necessary veterinary care for your pet. Unfortunately, more and more families are faced with that dilemma.
The Chum Cat Memorial Fund, a subsidiary of the American Veterinary Medical Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax exempt, non-profit organization, has been established to assist those families whose financial means prevents their pets from receiving needed veterinary care. Academy Animal Hospital advocates compassionate medical care for all animals in need, however, we can't do it alone. With your support and sponsorship we can lighten the financial burden to help get them through their family crisis.
