Dr. Nidhi Garg

Dr. Nidhi Garg started her interest in the veterinary field as a child as she grew up in a farm based family with a Labrador dog and several farm animals.
She completed her Bachelor’s of Veterinary science and then earned a Master's from G.B. Pant university of agriculture and technology, one of the prime veterinary institute of India.
Dr. Garg likes to communicate and interact to people about their pets. According to her: 'I can't think of a more powerful diagnostic and therapeutic tool than wishful thinking.' Having a veterinarian that you can really communicate about your pet’s needs is the key to a successful owner-veterinarian relationship.
Dr. Garg practiced Veterinary medicine in Chicago for 3 years before she moved to Bay Area in 2015. Her professional interests include small animal internal medicine and soft tissue surgeries with a special focus on dentistry and preventive care.
She is a proud parent of two children, an orange tabby cat named “Dash” and a Terrier Dog name “Diva”. On her days off she enjoys outdoor fun activities with her kids and taking her dog to dog park, as well as gardening.
