Lineberger Veterinary Hospital believes in giving back to the community by collecting donations for the Gaston County Humane Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to prevent cruelty to animals and relieve suffering. The GCHS also provides education in care and treatment for all animals, returns lost animals to their owners, and seeks suitable homes for adoptees. Lineberger Veterinary Hospital collects donations for the Gaston County Humane Society through our "Paws of Fame Murals" and sponsoring charitable events to raise money for their cause. When clients come to our hospital's waiting area they see four "Paws of Fame" scrolls. These murals painted by local area artist Amy Jones, are dedicated to the Gaston County Humane Society in honor and loving memory of many beloved pets. Clients can have their pet's name added to the scrolls by donating $5.00 per name to the GCHS. Dr. Lineberger will & has in the past matched all donations.
