    Dr. Angela Jordan, DVM

    Dr. Jordan has been with the practice part-time since June 2005 and joined us full-time in January 2017.  She grew up in New Braunfels and now lives in Martindale, TX with her husband Matt and her two children Christian and Olivia.  Angela graduated from Hood College in Frederick, MD in 1991 with a BA in Biochemistry and got her DVM from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA in 1997.  When Dr. Jordan is not at work she likes to take time to work on her gardening skills and work on her tropical fish tank.  She likes to read adventure novels on her down time and spends most of her time chasing her kids!  She has two dachshunds, Woody and Slinky, two terrier mixes named Rex and Sid, cat Gato, plus pet rats, fish tank, chickens, and a bearded dragon. Angela would one day like to be a college professor in a pre-vet program.  She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and of the Comal County Veterinary Medical Association.

    Dr. Robert Blagg, DVM

    Dr. Blagg started with the practice in 1987 after graduating from Texas Tech University in 1983 with a BS in Animal Science and from Texas A&M University in 1987 with his DVM. Dr. Blagg was born in Brownwood, TX but grew up in San Angelo, TX.  He has been married for almost 30 years to his wife Dottie, who is a pharmacist and a talented triathelete, and has two sons named Robert and Ben.  He is also a proud grandparent to grandson James and granddaughters Ada and Nora.  Dr. Blagg and Dottie live in New Braunfels with their dog Ginger.

    When not working, Dr. Blagg enjoys fishing, running, cycling, swimming, skiing, and practicing his French. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and of the Comal County Veterinary Medical Association.

    Sarah - Hospital Manager

    Sarah has been with our practice since March 2011, but worked in the veterinary industry for 3 years before that. She started with us as a veterinary assistant and worked her way up to working as a receptionist, then veterinary technician, and finally practice manager. 

    She grew up in Sherman, TX where she was involved in horse and dog clubs in 4-H.  She has received her A.S. in Psychology and an A.S. in Sociology from Grayson County College. Sarah moved to the area to attend Texas State University where she studied Psychology. 

    Sarah currently shares her Schertz home with her husband, daughter Alora, son Miles, and two mixed breed dogs Colby Jack and Gouda; but has had a menagerie of different pets in her life, including reptiles, birds, and rabbits.

    While not providing excellent patient care at work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and enjoying the company of her animals.

    Brianan - Receptionist

    Brianan joined our team in October 2021. Brianan is from Austin, Texas and currently attends Texas State University and lives in San Marcos. She has a cat named Pearl.

    Brianan’s favorite things about working here are the animals and people she works with. She has a previous year of veterinary assistant experience from a cat only veterinary practice and is knowledgeable in handling cats under stressful conditions.

    Brianan’s hobbies include reading and insects. She wants to learn how to free dive. Brianan also speaks Spanish pretty well and likes pickles.

    Devi - Receptionist

    Devi joined our team in April 2022. She comes to us with several years of veterinary technician experience. Devi is from San Antonio, Texas and attended college at the University of Louisiana. She currently lives in San Marcos with her black cat named Chips and cares for a feral cat colony as well.

    Devi enjoys making press-on nails and loves to kayak. She enjoys meeting our clients and hearing about their day. Devi also volunteers at a rescue for farm animals.

    Kenna - Receptionist

    Kenna joined our team in April 2022. She lives in San Marcos with her husband, Pomeranian named Juniper and three cats Bubbles, Niha, and Beyonce.

    Kenna is from League City, Texas originally and attended Trident University as well as Texas State University. She joined us with over 5 years of previous veterinary receptionist experience.

    She enjoys helping people at her job and at home enjoys video games, watching movies, and eating food. Kenna can speak some Japanese!

    Erika - Receptionist

    Erika joined our team as a receptionist in February 2015. She left her full-time position with in April 2022, but you may still see her here occasionally. She is originally from Tulsa, OK, but grew up in Wimberley. She graduated from Wimberley High School in 2010.

    Erika shares her Kyle home with her partner Mario, their son Anthony, and their cat Autumn and shih tzu mix dog Scarlett Jo.

    While not working, Erika enjoys baking  and trying new recipes.

    Terri - Receptionist

    Terri has been with the practice since 1997 and retired in October 2021; although, you may still see her around helping out some.

    Terri grew up in Nacogdoches, TX and moved to this area in 1996.  Terri shares her Seguin home with her husband, Brad, two dogs Louis and Bailey, and two cats Maddie and Cre'.

    On her days off, Terri enjoys spending time at the beach or tending to her vegetable garden.

    Weslea - Veterinary Assistant

    Weslea started working with us in January 2014 and has been committed to providing excellent patient care from the very beginning.  She is originally from Plano, TX and moved to the area to attend Texas State University, where she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography in 2013. She is currently enrolled in veterinary technician degree program to become a licensed veterinary technician!

    Weslea most enjoys educating our clients and seeing the progress of patients from sick to well. Her future aspirations are to create and sell more of her art.

    Weslea currently shares her Bastrop home with her husband, two dogs Argus and Nyx, and three cats Burt Macklin FBI, Rorschach, and Eva. When not working she spends her time enjoying art, reading a good book, and spending time in nature. Her family owns the Pocket Sandwich Theatre in Carrolton, Texas.

    Erin - Veterinary Assistant

    Erin joined our team in August 2017. She is from Dripping Springs, Texas where she attended Katherine Anne Porter School. She is currently enrolled in a veterinary technician degree program to become a licensed veterinary technician!

    Erin lives in San Marcos with her partner and their pets: a black lab Goku, mixed breed dog Fenrir, two cats Salem and Cayde, a blue-tongued skink named Merlin, and a kingsnake named Taquito. Did you know blue-tongued skinks have live births?

    If you haven’t realized already, Erin has quite the interest in reptiles and herpetology. She also has interest in pet nutrition and knowledge in dog training. Erin’s favorite thing about working as a vet tech is the happy tail wags! Her future goal is to own her own pet store!

    Natalie - Veterinary Assistant

    Natalie joined our team as a veterinary assistant in August 2019. She is from Tyler, Texas where she gained experience in veterinary hospitals.

    Natalie is currently a senior at Texas State University; she majors in Agriculture-Animal Science with a pre-veterinary concentration.

    Natalie has two cats Bailey and Bean. She loves our patients! Her interests include American Sign Language, fostering and bottle-feeding kittens, and cattle management.

    Bryan - Veterinary Assistant

    Bryan joined our practice in June 2019. He is from Kingwood, Texas and currently attends Texas State University majoring in animal science. Bryan's future goals include becoming a veterinarian. 

    Bryan lives in New Braunfels with his wife and son. They have three dogs, two yellow labs named Astro and Rocket and a golden retriever named Rover and a cat named Milo. He likes taking his dogs to the park, being outdoors, playing basketball, and watching Netflix. Bryan enjoys working with animals while here.

    Bianka - Veterinary Assistant

    Bianka joined our practice in September 2020 after several years experience in dog daycare and pet boarding. She is originally from McAllen, Texas and also speaks Spanish.

    Bianka shares her Kyle home with two dogs a chihuahua mix named Philly, American bully mix names Lettuce, a gartersnake Mr. Noodle, and a lizard named Gizmo. She currently attends Texas State University and plans to become a zoo veterinarian!

    Bianka's favorite part of her job is being able to help animals feel better. She is a folkorico dancer and has a twin sister who is exactly one hour older than her. 

  • Kristen - Veterinary Assistant

    Kristen joined our team in October 2021. She is from Fort Worth, Texas and now lives in Lockhart with her husband and daughter. They have a shih tzu named Rillo and a black mouth cur named Rosey. Kristen attended the University of Texas at Arlington and earned her Certified Veterinary Assistant in 2013.

    Kristen has almost 5 years of previous veterinary assistant and technician experience including at an internal medicine specialty practice. Kristen loves playing a role in getting her patients back to feeling great.

    Outside of work, Kristen is interested in weight lifting, hiking, reading, and listening to true crime podcasts. She hopes to become a real estate agent.

    Jordan - Veterinary Assistant

    Jordan joined our team in October 2021 with some prior veterinary assistant experience. She is from Houston, Texas and lives in San Marcos while attending Austin Community College with plans to enter the veterinary technician degree program soon.

    After becoming a licensed veterinary technician, Jordan plans to specialize in surgery or exotic medicine. At Tickle-Blagg Animal Hospital Jordan most enjoys working with animals and the team.

    Jordan enjoys yoka, hiking, travelling , and trying new coffee chops outside of work. She also loves horror and scary movies, reading tarot card, and music.
