My Smallest Love received excellent care when she was having an upset stomach. The receptionist was awesome at getting my Mouse in at basically the last minute, in which I was very thankful for. They are all so very nice there. Dr Borys Agarkov is an awesome vet, and he's very very good at his job! I do believe he genuinely cares about the animals and their well-being... He was right in his diagnosis for Mouse, and since seeing him, he's taken the time to talk to me on the phone twice. If you don't have a vet or are looking for one, I strongly suggest talking your fur-babies there. oh, and for anyone that might be a little confused about Mouse. She is a very small, grey mixed lap dog.

Def recommend. I called late morning about my kitty cat and they were able to get us in, in a few hours. My cat needed stitches and they were so caring. They told me everything up front and gave me a quote so i had no surprises. When i returned the cat carrier the next day, the lady asked me about my cat by name. I was pleasantly surprised. They even emailed me to follow up also. 5/5.

With the covid still affecting everyone my visit with my cat to the vet today was exemplary. Assistant came to my car and took him in. Then the doctor came to talk to me about his examination and what needed to be done. Tooth extraction..the assistant brought my cat to my car and we took care of payment. Thats why i give them 5 stars!!

Workers came to the car, picked up the puppies and took them in for their shots. They then brought them back and had their card machine on hand. Very seamless!

I would HIGHLY recommend Selkirk Animal Hospital. In fact, I cannot recommend them enough. On late Thursday evening we noticed our (outdoor) cat was refusing to walk on his front paw upon calling him to come into the garage for the night. His condition did not change on Friday and with the horrible storm we were unable to get him anywhere to be checked. We did however, call his regular vet and they said the earliest they could see him was Tuesday at 2:30 pm!!!!!!!! WHAT?! How on EARTH could they seriously let this poor animal suffer for FIVE DAYS IN THIS STATE?!?!?!? Insane. Absolutely insane. I will not state the regular vet that he sees, so please don’t ask. But, I was VERY unhappy with this and I REFUSE to support an establishment that operates in that fashion. On Saturday morning my cat’s paw appeared to be worsening. His paw was SO swollen and it was evident at this point that he was in extreme pain, so I decided to try calling other vet clinics in the area. I phoned Selkirk at 11:30 am (they close at 2 pm AND it was the Thanksgiving long weekend) and explained the situation to the receptionist on the phone. She actually said “please hold one moment and I will go talk to the vet” and did NOT dismiss us like the other clinic did!!!! We brought our kitty in and because the vet could not figure out what was wrong immediately, we ended up being there until 30 minutes after close time on the long weekend. As it turns out, our cat had a puncture wound and an INFECTION causing an abscess to start forming!!!!!!! Had we left it five days to wait and go to his regular vet, his condition would have been MUCH worse! HUGE thanks to the kind people at the Selkirk Animal Hospital!!!! Your care, compassion, and love for animals really shows through and your calm demeanour is exactly what pet owners need when they are feeling helpless. Thank you so so much. We will definitely be switching to your vet clinic for all our future needs💕

We have known Dr. Fred since SAH opened and have made the acquaintance of the rest of the team as they began to work there in their area of specialty. Fred is not only a person you can talk to but also one of the best diagnosticians and surgeons we have ever met. Our younger daughter started there as kennel help, and as she was accepted into veterinary medicine at the U of S, did a lot of her practical work there. The team were great mentors. Would not hesitate to trust beloved animals to their care.

Huge thank you to Selkirk Animal Hospital, if it wasn’t for you squeezing us in with Kita yesterday and referring her to Beausejour Animal Hospital for emergency surgery, she would have died. We picked her up this morning and she’s doing great but the Dr. told us she only had a day, maybe 2 left! Thank you so much!

I couldn't imagine a better clinic to take your pet to. We had been bringing our dog there from when he was a puppy to when we had to say goodbye. Not only were they extremely helpful with all of Max's check ups, including his Lyme diagnosis (which was then cured) to his mouth cancer diagnosis. Dr. Sletmoen was very helpful in his treatments and pain management and Dr. Lindenschmidt was very comforting when we brought him into his final appointment. The entire team was so helpful with the process of putting him down and even sent us a card after that had the entire staff's signatures on it. Such a caring and welcoming place.
