Pleasanton Pet Hotel

Pet Hotel & Daycare

It is not easy leaving our pets behind, but having a safe and reliable home-away-from-home for your furry family member makes it easier when you need to take time away.  At the Pleasanton Pet Hotel, we have been tucking in the pets of the Tri-Valley area since 1984.

We are pleased to offer you and your pets a clean, comfortable place where they will be treated with loving care.  We provide boarding for cats and dogs, and for clients and non-clients alike.

All of our team members are trained in Pet First Aid, and can also administer ongoing medications to your pet during their stay, providing they are friendly and willing! The Pleasanton Pet Hotel is located adjacent to Town & Country Veterinary Hospital, which can provide additional peace of mind if your animal companion has any medical conditions.

Comfortable Accommodations

Our beautifully designed cattery contains 30 suites, located in a quiet upstairs area far from the canine activity below.  Your cat will enjoy piped in music and natural lighting while he snuggles in a fleece-lined hammock custom made by Linda, our Retired Cattery Manager. Our feline guests take turns lounging on our couches or checking out the play tower and scratching posts while their suites are cleaned and tidied up each day. We look forward to pampering your kitty with TLC at the Pleasanton Pet Hotel.

Our dog accommodations are generous indoor/outdoor runs, which allow our social friends to view one another in the warm sunshine, or nap in the cool indoors. Each dog is provided a warm fleece blanket for lounging, and pets who might need extra warmth are outfitted from our stock of adorable complimentary sweaters to wear during their stay.  In the warm summer months, gentle water misters will help cool your dog in one of our 70 dog accommodations.  Your pet will be tucked away inside during the evenings, and we offer leash walks during the daytime.  Although we are not open for business on weekends or holidays, rest assured that our Pet Hotel Manager, Stephanie, and the rest of our dedicated Pet Hotel Technician crew is here making sure that your dog is loved and well cared for.

Diet & Treats

We recommend that you bring your pet's own food for us to feed while boarding to minimize dietary disruptions. However, if you wish we can feed our high quality food to your cat or dog.  Feel free to bring a few familiar treats for your pet to enjoy during their stay, and we will do our best to make your pets feel at home.

Boarding Requirements

For the safety of all our hotel guest, cats and dogs need to be free of fleas and up to date on vaccinations.  We will require a copy of the current vaccination records showing proof of vaccinations from your veterinarian. If your pet is found to have fleas while boarding please be aware that we may require administration of a flea/tick product for an additional fee.

Dogs must be current on Rabies, DA2PP (or show protective titers for Distemper and Parvo within the last year), and Bordetella (within the last 6 months).

Beginning February 12, 2018, all dogs must be current on the Canine Influenza vaccination.  We will accept the H3N2 strain, however, the Bi-valent H3N2/H3N8 vaccination is preferred.  Town & Country carries the Bi-valent Canine Influenza vaccine, and it can be administered here.  We ask that all pet owners please have the first booster done at least 1 week prior to their pets boarding stay with our Pet Hotel.  Thank you.

Cats must be current on Rabies, FVRCP (or show protective titers for Calicivirus, Herpesvirus, and Panleukopenia within the last year), and FeLV (or negative Feline Leukemia Virus test within the last year).  If your cats FeLV vaccination is 3 years past due or a FeLV vaccination has never been given, a Negative FeLV/FIV test is required prior to boarding and vaccinating for FeLV.

All clients are required to complete the Boarding Pet Assessment for each that will be staying with us.  Please print and fill out the Boarding Pet Assessment for each pet prior to your pets boarding reservation.

If your pet has any medical conditions or concerns that you would like checked, or needs vaccination updates administered, we would be happy to schedule an examination with our doctors at Town & Country Veterinary Hospital that can be done during their stay.

Daily tours of the Pet Hotel and Cattery are given between the hours of 10:00 am and 11:45 a.m.  Please stop by to tour our facility and schedule your pet's reservation today!
