Boarding Requirements
For the protection of all, and for peace of mind, we want to board healthy pets and keep them healthy during their stay. Please read the following so that you understand our pre-boarding requirements. Pets will only be accepted with the proper documentation, so please plan ahead. We cannot make exceptions.
Canine Requirements
Dogs must have current Rabies, distemper combo and bordetella vaccinations given at least one week prior to their stay with us. Puppies must have had two distemper combo vaccinations given by a veterinarian at 3 – 4 week intervals with the latest vaccination having been given two weeks prior to staying with us. They must also have a bordetella vaccination given two weeks prior to their stay. If over 16 weeks of age, the puppy must have received a Rabies vaccination as well.
Feline Requirements
Cats must have had a negative feline leukemia/FIV test result and be current on Rabies, feline distemper combo and feline leukemia vaccinations. Kittens must have had a negative feline leukemia/FIV test and have received two distemper combinations and feline leukemia vaccinations given by a veterinarian at 3-4 week intervals with the latest vaccination given two weeks prior to their stay. Kittens over 16 weeks of age must have been given a Rabies vaccination as well.
If your pet is current on vaccinations but they are due soon and you wish to have them updated we can do so while they are with us. Follow-up fecals can be done as well.
