Greeting from the Broadview Reproduction Team!

At Broadview Animal Hospital, we strive to provide quality care with compassion. To maintain a high level of care, we offer reproductive services performed by doctors who have a passion for theriogenology.

We now have five doctors on our reproduction team who are members of the Theriogenology Society. Dr. Michael Norris, Dr. Heather Berry, Dr. Sara LePine,  Dr. Wes Chapin and Dr. Daniel Kelleher are all available for reproductive consultations and breeding services. As qualified members of this society, they received training from Minitube USA on advanced techniques for transcervical insemination, Mavic insemination, and breeding timing. Dr. Michael Norris, Dr. Wes Chapin and our Lead reproduction technician Carrey Stevens have received certification in semen handling, freezing and storage through the International Canine Semen Bank (ICSB).

As a full service reproductive facility, we have many secured liquid nitrogen tanks for semen storage and additional team members who are trained  for semen collection, freezing, semen shipment and vaginal insemination.

We look forward to supporting you while you improve your breeding program in the future.   • Daniel Kelleher

    Dr. Daniel Kelleher has joined the Reproduction Department and has completed training with Minitube USA (formerly MOFA) for Transcervical Insemination and Breeding Management, is PennHip certified, USDA accredited and is a member of the Society for Theriogenology. Within reproduction, Dr. Kelleher is especially interested in male infertility.  He takes satisfaction working with all breeds but specifically the protection breeds.

  • J. Wesley Chapin DVM

    Dr. Wes Chapin is a member of the Society for Theriogenology. He has received training from the International Canine Semen Bank (ICSB) on freezing semen and Epididymal Harvesting. Dr. Chapin also brings extensive surgical and management experience to our team.

  • Heather Berry DVM

    Dr. Heather Berry is a member of the Society for Theriogenology and has also received training from Minitube USA (formerly MOFA) for Transcervical insemination and Breeding Management. She is one of our primary diagnostic ultrasound doctors and has attended many seminars and conferences related to theriogenology.

    Dr. Michael Norris is a founding member of the Reproductive Services program at Broadview Animal Hospital. He has been a fundamental part of building our service and reputation levels to be one of the best programs in New England. In addition to his numerous certifications and memberships he also brings to the program an extensive surgical background and over 30 years of veterinary and theriogenology experience.

    Dr. Sara LePine is a member of Society for Theriogenology and is also certified by Minitube USA (formerly MOFA) for Transcervcal Insemination and Breeding Management. She is a pivotal part of our reproductive services program that allows us to provide urgent reproductive services 7 days a week. She has a strong interest in theriogenology and has attended numerous continuing education opportunities to build her knowledge even further.
