Routine Checkups

Regular wellness exams are one of the most important things you can do to keep your pet healthy. We believe strongly in preventive care and have developed wellness protocols for every stage of your pet’s life

Spay & Neuter

Spaying or neutering your pet can help them live a longer, healthier life, minimizes behavior problems and helps control the population of unwanted pets. According to the American Veterinary Medical Association, nearly 12,500 puppies are born in the United States each hour. Spaying or neutering your pet eliminates unwanted litters, which contributes to thousands of euthanasia procedures and millions of stray animals.

Dental Care

Your pet’s dental health is an important part of his overall health. According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, 80% of dogs and 70% of cats have oral disease by the age of 3. It is the most frequently diagnosed health problem in pets. Dental disease is an often unrecognized source of pain in pets.

Surgery

Dr Thomas Mole adheres to the highest level of care standards for all surgical procedures. Our highly skilled staff place the utmost emphasis on pain management to ensure your pet is safe and comfortable throughout the treatment process. Using advanced technology, your pet’s vital signs are monitored by our well trained veterinary technicians, who will remain with your pet through recovery.

Pain Management

Pain management has become an important issue in veterinary medicine. The American Animal Hospital Association along with the American Association of Feline Practitioners recently released the AAHA/AAFP Pain Management Guidelines for Dogs and Cats. These guidelines show that pain management helps improve the recovery process, whether from illness, surgery or injury. Because it reduces stress and increases a sense of well being, pain management may even help your pet live longer.

Microchips

Thousands of pets become lost every day, and microchip identification is the one reliable way to reunite these lost pets with their owners. The procedure is safe, easy, inexpensive, and practically painless.

Euthanasia

Deciding to euthanize a pet is an agonizing process. You will likely experience a wide range of complicated emotions as the time comes. It is important that you are prepared for this event and deal with the feelings as they come. There is great fear in not knowing what will occur on this day. You can set an appointment to discuss this with Dr. Mole so that you feel more comfortable with your decision when the time comes.

Dermatology

Skin problems are among the primary reasons to bring a pet into the veterinarian. Pets in Florida routinely contract skin problems due to the extreme heat and humidity. Dr. Mole can identify and treat a variety of common skin conditions.

X-Rays

One of the most common and valuable medical diagnostic tools is radiography or x-rays. X-rays are highly useful for screening areas of the body that have contrasting tissue densities or when evaluating solid tissues. Our hospital is equipped to perform routine radiology services to identify many types of illness or injury when pets are sick or suffer a trauma.

Ultrasounds

An ultrasound is a non-invasive imaging procedure that enables an in-depth view of your pet’s organs. Many times x-rays, which reveal the size, dimensions and position of the organ, will be utilized in combination with an ultrasound.

Having convenient and immediate access to the many preventive and therapeutic medicines at our hospital ensures pets can start recommended medications right away.
