Lindsey Brown, Practice Manager

Lindsey grew up in the Richmond area and has been involved with animals her entire life. She began working in the veterinary industry while in high school as a kennel assistant and through on the job training began working as a veterinary assistant. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Animal & Poultry Sciences with a minor in Agricultural Economics from Virginia Tech in 2008 she moved back to Richmond to continue working as a veterinary assistant while deciding the next step. Wanting to stay in the veterinary field, but not follow down the path of DVM or LVT, she decided to go back to school to earn a degree in business and in 2013 she received her Masters in Business Administration from Averett University. Her next goal is to earn her Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) designation.

Lindsey lives in the Lakeside area with her husband and son along with their Yorkie Sophie, unfortunately their horse Chance is unable to live in the backyard but would certainly help with keep the lawn mowed. When not working, she enjoys horseback riding, reading, vacations with her family, cooking, and gardening.
