Basic Obedience (Clicker Training 101)
In order for your dog to be an enjoyable family companion, proper pet behavior is necessary. Experience has shown us that in order for your dog to be successfully taught, training has to be a fun, rewarding, and positive experience for everyone. Our objective is to motivate your dog to be eager and happy to please you, because he wants to, not because he has to.
Our training will achieve this goal through praise, positive reinforcement, clicker training, guidance, and most of all by making our training FUN for you and your dog. We will teach you how to motivate and guide your dog to learn obedience for life.
We are committed to humane and gentle training methods that will quickly and easily get your dog to perform the desired behavior and respond to a variety of commands willingly.
Your Pooch Will Learn: Placemat, sit, down, come, how to walk on a loose leash, hand target, drop it, leave it, wait at doors, name recognition and more. On week six we test every dog on AKC Puppy Star Skills.
You Will Learn: How to have fun and train your dog at the same time, along with how to handle common problem behaviors. We want to give you and your dog a way to communicate in a positive way when tackling everyday life.
Class: Class is 1 hour per week for 6 weeks. Class size is 6-8 dogs with 2 trainers per class.
Age: 16 weeks and up.
WEEK ONE IS FOR HUMANS ONLY!
Price: $250 per dog. This class includes 1 free Private appointment to be used during or after your 6 week class for extra one-on-one time.

Intermediate Obedience (more advanced Clicker Training)
This is a 6-week course that works on more advanced behaviors than basic obedience class, new cues and new objects. It is for any dog who has completed Basic Obedience and for any owner who is looking for better manners from their smart pup. Canine Good Citizen test is given on graduation day.
Class Covers:
3 D's:
- Distractions of everyday life
- Distance - working "cues" from further away
- Duration - learning how to hold behaviors for longer periods of time
New Cues:
- Stand
- Settle
- Heel
- Behaviors from a distance
- Come on a 25ft long line
Fun Activities:
- Weekly Games
- Enrichment Toys
- Canine Good Citizen Prep
- Working inside & outside
- Topics on how to make your good dog great!
Class: Class is 1 hour per week for 6 weeks.
Price: $235 per dog
Prerequisite: Completion of ULPS Basic Obedience class.

Drop-Off Training
Includes one-on-one training for your dog with a certified KPA trainer all day. They also get to play in our doggy daycare while they are here so they can get proper dog socialization. At the end of the day, a trainer will spend 30 minutes privately with you and your dog going over everything your dog has learned that day, and teaching you what they know and how to apply this at home. Our training programs are 100% positive reinforcement based and include clicker training. We want your dog to have an enjoyable training experience and learn what you need them to know to be a good citizen.
Drop-off Training Programs
Program #1 (The Basics) 6 days - Cues: Loose Leash walking, Sit, Down, Name Recognition and Touch. We also work on teaching your dog to give attention to their handler, and how to offer behaviors that are appropriate. $475
Price: $475 for 6 days. Also includes 2 private 1 HOUR follow up appointments that must be used within 3 weeks.
Program #2 (Duration) 11 days - Cues: Everything in Program #1 + Come, Place, Release Cue and long duration with stationary cues (with added option of either leave it or drop it).
Price: $750 for 11 days. Also includes 4 private 1 HOUR follow up appointments that must be used within 2 months.
Program #3 (Distance) 21 days - Cues: Everything in Programs #1 and #2 + Heel, Stand, Sit from Down, along with hand signals for sit, down, stand and place (with added option of leave it or drop it, along with working on one problem behavior).
Price: $1100 for 21 days. Also includes 6 private 1 HOUR follow up appointments that must be used within 3 months.
Training + Boarding is also available so that your dog stays with us during the training process. Training price does not include boarding.
Price: Drop-off training price + discounted boarding rate of $15.50 per night on training days M-F, $31 per night on weekend training days.

Refresh Training
Haven't had time to work your dog's obedience lately? Or want to refresh their training for the holidays? Need some help working through a recurring issue? Refresh training is designed for any dog who has previously completed one of our obedience programs, whether it have been a class or drop off program.
Program #1: Refresh training + Daycare
Price: $41/day per dog (includes both training and daycare).
Program #2: Refresh training + Boarding
Price: Refresh training is $41.00 per day per dog. Boarding fee is discounted to $14.50 in conjunction with Refresh training. Your dog will spend the day out of the kennel and in training. When you pick up your dog at the end of it's stay, you will also receive 1 private lesson.
Program #3: 10-Day Prepaid Refresh Package (Must use the 10 days in your package within 6 months. )
Price: $390 for package ($39.00 per day).
