PAIN MANAGEMENT DURING PET SURGERY
When your pet needs surgery, you can be sure that the veterinarians at Porter Pet Hospital make sure to give pain medication before beginning so that your pet will feel less pain during and after the procedure. We use intravenous (IV) means to continually administer pain medication. Giving ample pain management medication during surgery greatly affects the amount of discomfort your pet will experience throughout his or her recovery.
