Veterinary Assistant position available.(full or part time) Looking for the right person, with veterinary assisting experience preferred, to join our staff. The hours include afternoon and evenings as well as weekends and some holidays. We need someone who is capable of successful restraint and handling of domestic animals, communicating with clients and interested in learning. The right candidate must:
- Be able to handle a fast-paced, stressful environment;
- Multi-task successfully;
- Competent with computers;
- Communicate effectively;
- Be flexible;
- Able to lift at least 30lb. alone;
- Has a teamwork mentality;
- Willing to cross-train and fill in where needed;
- Able to be on their feet for long periods of time;
- Able to get down on the floor with the animals for examination.
