Office Manager
Sherry: Sherry has been at this facility for 30 years - even before Dr.'s Wadstrom and Noel purchased it. It comes as no surprise that she is the go-to person for many of the supporting needs of the clinic. Not only does Sherry handle all of the internal accounting but she manages the office as well. Sherry has 2 sons, a beautiful granddaughter and a grandson on the way; and 3 dogs, Ace, Scooter and Hans. Sherry was born and raised in Salem, and has been married for many years to husband Marty. In her free time, she enjoys crafting. There really isn't anything in the clinic that Sherry isn't willing or able to help with so we know how lucky we are to have her!

April: We are spo blessd to have April as our head LVT. The clinic would not run as smoothly without her and we know how much our patients live her! She originally started at ACCS back in 1998 as a kennel attendant and has been with us in various capacities on and off since then. She is a 1992 graduate of Glenvar High School and a 1996 grad of Virginia Tech. She attended the prestigious Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in Denver, Co in 1999 and remained out west for a number of years. She has worked as a LVT in small animal practices, a emergency/referral practice (you may have seen her on Emergency Vets on the Animal Planet a number of years ago), and in shelter medicine. When not working at the clinic she is Mom to 5 wonderful kids, 3 dogs, 1 cat and whatever else wanders across her path! (Oh, and she's a pretty terrific wife according to her husband.)

Austin: Son of our office manager, Austin is one of the family. Austin has a cute little terrier partner in crime, Hans, who is always up for fun! Whether he's filling-in in the kennel or working with clients as an assistant, Austin is always ready and willing to help. Austin has a good sense of humor and has been with ACCS for several years.

Lauren: Lauren has been with ACCS since 2016! She grew up in Roanoke, Virginia graduating from Cave Spring High School. She is currently at Roanoke College studying for a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with a minor in Psychology. She lives with her two cats, Maisie and Delilah, both of whom she adopted as kittens. So, she very much has a sweet spot for all the cats that come through ACCS! Lauren is a member of the co-ed service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega, on the Roanoke College campus and often uses her free time to volunteer for different causes or events. In addition to this, she enjoys spending time with her kitties and her boyfriend, reading, rollerblading on occasion, and watching shows such as Bones or Law & Order SVU. She hope to continue a career path involving animals and is very much enjoying her time at ACCS and we are very lucky to have her!

Receptionists
Jennifer: Jennifer has been a receptionist at Animal Care Center for all of her work-life. Jen is also a wife, and mom of two. She has been with Animal Care Center for a number of years - greeting all of our clients as they come through the door! She is a great asset to our team!
