Dr. Kurtis DunckelVeterinarian

 
Dr. Kurt Dunckel graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in physiology in 1978 and DVM in 1982 from the College of Veterinary Medicine. He started Dunckel Veterinary Hospital in 1991 and built the current building in 1995. Dr. Dunckel's special interest is in all types of surgery. He is the past president of the Saginaw Valley Veterinary Medical Association and of the Davison Optimist Club. He has also been involved with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters for several years and in his spare time loves to golf. Dr. Dunckel and his wife Debbie have two sons, Ryan and Alex, 2 grandchildren,  two cats "Sparty" & "Charlie" and Australian Cattledog "Hogan".

Dr. Heather Wark, Veterinarian

Dr. Heather Wark was born and raised in New Jersey. She graduated from the University of California- Davis in 1989 with an honors bachelor degree in Zoology. She earned her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1993 from Michigan State University. Dr. Wark's special areas of interest are feline medicine, nutrition, and behavior. She is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, kayaking, swimming and biking, and spending time with her two cats, Tanguy and Samhain.









Dr. Alanna Miller, Veterinarian

Dr. Alanna Miller graduated from Michigan State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 with her DVM degree. Her special areas of interest include dermatology and internal medicine. Dr. Miller currently resides in the Lansing area with her husband and three dogs, Lexi, Riley, and Lola. In her spare time she enjoys cheering on MSU sports, gardening, reading, and spending time with friends and family. 










Dr. Shelley Wallace, Veterinarian

Dr. Shelley Wallace graduated from Michigan State University with her DVM degree in 2012, after working as a systems analyst for several years. She lives in Dryden with her husband, 2 cats (Angus and Starla), and dog (Murphy). Dr. Wallace is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Michigan Veterinary Medical Association, Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians and the American Association of 200 Veterinarians. Her special area of interest is exotic companion mammals, such as ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, and the like. She is currently working toward board certification in exotic companion mammals. In her free time she enjoys running, weightlifting, hockey (Go Red Wings!), and spending time with family and friends.








Dr. Kaylee Long, Veterinarian, Medical Director

Dr. Kaylee Long was born in Cass City, MI and raised in the small town of Deford. She attended Alma College on an academic scholarship and finished her Bachelor of Science while at Michigan State University before graduating Veterinary School at MSU in 2009. She currently lives in Memphis,MI with her husband, two children and their French Bulldog, Maison. Dr. Long’s special areas of interest include canine reproductive medicine and clinical nutrition. In her spare time she enjoys running, traveling and spending time with her family.


Dr. Yvonne Craiger, Veterinarian

Dr. Yvonne Craiger graduated with a bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University in 1982 and then graduated from Michigan State University with her DVM in 1995. She has been a veterinarian for more than 20 years and brings a variety of experiences to the practice, including work with small animals and reptiles, emergency medicine and surgery, dermatology and internal medicine interests. Dr. Craiger is a firm believer in life- long learning and appreciates that Michigan has set requirements for veterinarians to take part in continuing education. She resides with David, her husband of 35 years and love of her life. Einstein is their aging, small, mixed breed dog named for the crazy hair on top of his head. In her spare time, she enjoys singing, learning to paint, reading, hiking, swimming and camping.


Dr. Abby Sierakowski, Veterinarian

Dr. Abby Sierakowski was born and raised in Lapeer. She graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in zoology and then went on to earn her doctorate from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She currently resides in Goodrich, MI with her husband, son, boxer/pit bull mix (Sarah) and 2 cats (Garmin & Tibby). Her areas of interest are ophthalmology, ultrasound, and soft tissue surgery. In her spare time she likes  spending time with family and friends, as well as crafts i.e. carving gourds, camping and bonfires, and most outdoor activities i.e. sledding, sports activities, riding four wheelers.


Dr. Goode

Dr. Debbie Goode, Veterinarian

Dr. Debbie Goode is a small animal practitioner from Grand Blanc, Michigan. She graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Dr. Goode received her certification in Veterinary Acupuncture from the Chi Institute in Reddick, Florida in 2015 and her certification in Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy from the Healing Oasis in Sturtevant, Wisconsin in 2018. In her spare time, Dr. Goode enjoys spending time on the water, snowboarding, drawing/ painting, and relaxing at home.
