Walk-In Visits
At Eastwood Animal Clinic, we understand that illness can strike pets without warning and that prompt, quality care is a priority. We understand it can also be difficult to schedule veterinary visits around work, school and other activities. Therefore, for your convenience, we accept walk-ins for all vaccination visits, wellness exams, and ill pet visits. If you wish to see a specific doctor, we ask that you call ahead to ensure they will be available to see your pet.
Appointments
Appointments are required for all non-emergency surgeries and dental procedures. Please call us at (915) 593-0713 to schedule a surgical or dental appointment. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability.
Emergency & Urgent Care
Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 7 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such a rat bait poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion.
If an emergency occurs when we are closed, please call (915) 593-0713 for after hours information. When they are available, Doctors Gibson or Dashley will see emergencies on an after hour basis from closing - 11pm from Monday through Sunday. After 11pm, our after hours service can direct you to the Animal Emergency Center.

Eastwood Animal Clinic accepts payment via cash, check, MasterCard, or Visa. We also accept Care Credit (see "Payment Options" under our Patient Center for more information). So that we can continue to provide you high quality service utilizing the best medical technologies, we request that payment be made at the time services are rendered.
We are able to provide provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges.
Eastwood Animal Clinic offers discounts on some services for military personnel and local area rescue groups. Pre-approval is required to qualify for discounts. Please call us for more information.
