After the age of 7 or 8 we recommend that your dog receive examinations twice per year and has complete blood work done annually. These tests run quickly and accurately on our state of the art in house rapid laboratory testing equipment.
As your dog gets older many of our 4-legged friends develop arthritis, some have metabolic or endocrine issues, and some even develop cancer. Their nutritional needs and requirements change, as do their levels of exercise and activity.
We still recommend annual vaccinations and parasite control as described for the younger dogs.
