The Allerton Equine Team

Julia has been working around horses since age 8 when she took her first job mucking stalls in a local stable in exchange for riding lessons. From that time on, she has had a passion for riding and working with horses. After attending college for nursing, she worked for several years as an ICU/trauma nurse and continued riding and competing in hunter/jumper.

Aubrey graduated from Lehigh Carbon Community College’s AVMA accredited Veterinary Technician Program in 2015. She is a Certified Veterinary Technician in the state of Pennsylvania as well as a member of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America and the Association of Equine Veterinary Technicians and Assistants. Aubrey graduated from the American School of Equine Dentistry in 2017 and is trained in both hand-floating and power floating. She also has ambitions of gaining her certification with the International Association of Equine Dentistry.

Carlene has had a passion for all things horses since she was a small child in rural Ohio where she would ride ponies (or cows!) with the neighborhood children. She worked at several hunter/jumper show barns doing everything from mucking stalls to grooming to exercise riding. Her passion followed her into adulthood where she competed as an eventer for several years with her beloved late horse, Tiger.
