Spaying is the surgical removal of the ovaries and uterus in a female pet and neutering is the removal of the testicles in a male pet. The operation sounds drastic, but it is safe, effective, and quick. Both surgeries are done under general anesthesia in a sanitized environment. We use the safest pre-anesthetic medication Alfaxan, and the safest anesthetic gas Isoflurane. Throughout the procedure, your pet’s heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration rate are closely watched by a certified animal health technician and licensed veterinarian. We take every precaution and step possible for the comfort of your pet.
