Serving Our Community

As members of our community, we feel that we can have a positive impact on the lives of both pets and pet owners by offering free educational programs and fun activities.

Our previous events have covered subjects such as “Household Toxins” and “First Aid for Pets.” We have also hosted a program called “Veterinarian for a Day,” a hands-on, informational event where kids of all ages explored what it’s like and what it takes to become a veterinarian.

We have enjoyed the opportunity to present at local high schools on career days, and have accepted invitations to visit local classrooms and share what it’s like to be a veterinarian with children of all ages. We have hosted animal hospital tours for Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops that were working on badges, and have given presentations to dog breed clubs, bird clubs, training clubs, and the like. We are also partnering with animal rescue organizations to provide a venue for events, and whatever support we can offer, to see that animals in need find good homes.

We love to serve our clients, the community of Streamwood, and all surrounding communities. If you are interested in our educational programs and rescue events, or if you have any questions, ideas, or requests for future programs, call us at (847) 742-8298.
