Located about 20-kilometres north of the city of Courtenay, on Vancouver Island, BC . You will find our animal hospital and clinic beside the Merville General Store, 6635-B Old Island Highway North Courtenay. Our proximity to both the Comox Valley and Campbell River enables us to treat both companion and farm animals from a large geographic area.

    Practice Owner/Veterinarian

    Peter purchased Tsolum Mobile Veterinary Health Ltd from Patrick O’Brien in October of 2003. The practice is a good match for Peter, with an excellent mixture of friendly pet owners and farmers, beautiful scenery and a seemingly limitless choice of recreational pursuits.

  • Dr. Erin Manson

    Dr. Erin Manson grew up in Victoria and after completing a Biology degree at UVic relocated to Edinburgh, Scotland, where she met her husband, Chris. She attended vet school at the Royal Veterinary College in London, England, then spent several years working as a vet in Stirling, Scotland. She has now returned to the Island with Chris and their 2 dogs, Poppy and Fergus.

    Receptionist

    Suzanne was born and raised in Chemainus, BC on a dairy farm.  She moved to Courtenay in 1995.  After swearing that she would never marry a dairy farmer, she did just that, in 1996.  She has 3 boys, as well as a step-son.  She started working Saturday’s at Tsolum Mobile in 2010, and now works 2 days a week.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching basketball and cooking…a necessity with all those boys!
