During surgery, your fur baby will be closely monitored using state of the art equipment to measure their heart rate, blood pressure, and other important vital signs. Following surgery, your fur baby will be relocated to our tranquil recovery area where they will continue to be monitored as they come out of anesthesia. A member of our team will contact you to explain how the procedure went and to arrange a time for you to come pick up your fur baby. When you arrive, we’ll go over any post-surgical care instructions, including an appropriate pain management plan to help your fur baby recover as quickly and as comfortably as possible.
For those situations in which our doctors feel there is a need for a particularly complex procedure requiring the use of more advanced equipment or a higher level of training, we have close working relationships with several board-certified veterinary surgeons and specialists. We are more than happy to provide a referral, as we feel that this ensures that our patients always receive the highest level of care with the best possible outcome.
