Dental Care and Cleaning

One of the most important ways to make sure your dog or cat has a lifetime of clean, healthy and pain free teeth is to bring them in for their annual exam. Does your pet's mouth smell not so sweet? An odor is not normal. Just like in people, bad breath in pets is often a sign of dental disease and requires treatment to safeguard your pet's health.

Annual exams can ensure their later years are more comfortable and happy. Our clinic specializes in pet dentistry for animals of all sizes.

Our pet dental services include:

- Oral/dental exam
- Dental cleaning
- Polishing and fluoride treatment
- Dental x-rays
- Extractions

During an annual visit, our vet will examine your pet's mouth for signs of early gum disease and point out areas of tartar build-up or decay. The following are signs and symptoms of poor oral health: persistent bad breath, pawing at mouth, loss of appetite, bleeding/inflammed gums, tartar, loose or missing teeth, and difficutly eating or chewing.

If you notice any of these warning signs, do not wait for the next annual visit. If left untreated, teeth can abscess and can be linked to serious medical problems, including heart, liver and kidney disease.
