Terra Schropp, RVT
Nursing Supervisor
Terra obtained her Registered Veterinary Technician license in 2013 after graduating from Foothill College’s Veterinary Technician Program that same year, making her passion for animals her career. She worked in a 24/7 general practice, focusing on emergency care, and then branched out to specialty veterinary medicine with a second job. She spent a year as an internal medicine technician and then transferred to oncology, where she found her niche as a lead oncology technician. As if working two jobs wasn’t time consuming enough, Terra decided to go back to school to obtain her Bachelor of Arts in Global Health and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University in 2017.
After receiving her BA, Terra accepted an offer with Silicon Valley Veterinary Specialists to be the Nursing Supervisor and has enjoyed working alongside the staff to improve the level of nursing care. For Terra, seeing other technicians grow and learn in their field is the most rewarding part of being a supervisor.
In her downtime, she loves to read, workout, and participate in her bowling league once a week. She also loves to have a glass of wine and watch any of the Real Housewives series while cuddling with her rescue chihuahua, Gus, and her chubby rescue cat, Jasper.
