Our goal is to provide high quality diagnostic images and interactive image interpretation that make a difference in patient care and outcome. At Silicon Valley Veterinary Specialists, we are all digital. We use veterinary-focused viewing software, making it easy to view images by any of our doctors. We can also share these images with you and your primary care veterinarian. This adds to the collaborative approach of our doctors and specialists with you and your primary care veterinarian.Your veterinarian may choose to send images to our hospital in preparation for a visit from you and your pet, or for valuable advice from our specialists on diagnosis and case management.
In addition to interpreting radiographs (X-Rays), our doctors routinely perform ultrasounds, MRI and CT scans. These imaging modalities supplement 2D radiographs with cross-sectional patient imaging. Multiple imaging modalities may be used to better define a disease.
