Say Hello to our Cat Veterinarian Team

Drs. John G. Richter, JR., and Adrianna Arcuri --Dr. John G. Richter, Jr. first intended on becoming an equine doctor. However, he realized he really loved cats. Felines are complicated creatures, but Richter, Jr. was ready for the challenge. He first opened New England Cat Care with his wife, Dr. Adrianna Arcuri in 1998, who shares his passion. When talking about cats to his clients, he explains conditions in ways pet lovers will not feel overwhelmed. He first studied at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science but received his veterinary degree at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Adrianna Arcuri first studied psychology at Hahnemann University then later took up feline medicine at the University of Pennsylvania where she met Dr. Richter, Jr. One of her strengths is helping her feline patients heal quickly from surgery, and she has the patience anyone would need dealing with cats all day. She also makes sure the feline patients she treats are good candidates for surgical procedures.

Alicia-Lynn Boulay “Lee," Head Technician and Director of Patient Care - Alicia first came on board to be a part of New England Cat care in 2006. She has EMT and firefighting experience, so she knows her way around an emergency. She also has a gift of keeping cats calm when drawing blood and has extensive knowledge of feline medicine.

Danielle E. Crawford, Director of Client Care – Danielle E. Crawford joined our Woodbridge, CT cat veterinarian team in 2004. She provides just as much care to the human clients as she does the feline patients, in that she makes sure clients receive the care for their pets they need. Danielle has four Siamese cats and has taken charge of the office social media channels.
