If not, she may be struggling with overweight and obesity—which is associated with an increased risk for a variety of other health problems.

Call a cat veterinarian a call whenever you have any questions or concerns about your pet's wellbeing. Signs of a pet emergency include difficulty breathing, acute trauma, known ingestion of poison, excessive vomiting or diarrhea (with or without blood), or collapse.
