Value Pet Care: Who We Are
As a limited service animal clinic, we work hard to provide you with convenient hours and quality vet care in a clinic style setting. To better serve our patients, we work on a walk-in basis and see your pets based on the order in which you arrive at our office. What makes us so unique is the fact that we offer the same level of quality and skill that you would find at our more traditional full-service veterinary offices but with the convenience of a mobile vet clinic.
Veterinary Services We Offer
To better meet the needs of our clients at Value Pet Care, we offer a limited range of vet care services. This allows us to spend our time focusing on one or 2 areas of patient care to allow for faster appointment times and convenient drop-off options. Our list of vet care services include:
Cat Services
Kitten Packages
Kittens require multiple vaccines in order to build proper immunity. The first set of vaccines should be given at or after 6 weeks of age and the final vaccines should be administered Right at four months of age. All vaccines should be boostered annually thereafter.

Adult Cat Packages
Adult cats should receive annual boosters of their vaccines in conjunction with Retro-Viral Testing and Intestinal parasite screening. Senior pets should also have routine lab work done to monitor vital organ function.

Other Recommendations
Routine lab testing can help identify disease early and prolong the life of our four-legged family. Pets with lab abnormalities will be referred to our sister clinics for additional consultation.
FELV-FIV TestingFeline Retro-Viral Testing is recommended for all Kittens and annually for all Out-Door cats. |

Intestinal Parasite ScreenWe recommend an intestinal parasite screen at least yearly. However, the CDC has additional recommendations available at: https://www.cdc.gov/parasites/animals.html |

Vital Organ Function ScreenYearly lab test checking vital organ function is recommend for all ages, but is especially encouraged for all senior pets aged seven and older. |
Cat Surgery Packages
Regardless of the type of surgery, it is a major stressful event on the body. We believe that all surgical patients require appropriate pain management and our surgical packages are designed with pain control as a core component. Please see our Surgical Services Page for additional information.
Cat Neuter (Male)All neuter procedures are a surgical castration. We limit our neuters to males with both testicles clearly descended into the scrotum, any abnormalities from this have the potential to be much more complicated procedures and we refer them to our sister facilities. |

Cat Spay (Female)All spay procedures are a surgical Ovariohysterectomy, where the uterus and ovaries are surgically removed. |

Dental CleaningValue Pet Care Dental Cleaning are limited to an oral exam, ultrasonic cleaning of the teeth and polishing. Patients in need of extractions or other oral surgical procedures where x-rays are necessary will be referred to our sister facilities. |

Pre-Anesthesia Blood ProfilePre-Anesthesia Blood Profiles are always recommended, but maybe required for certain high risk breeds. Pre-Anesthesia Blood Profiles include a Complete Blood Count, Small Vital Organ Screening, and Clotting times. |

All dog spays are limited to patients less than one years of age and less than 75 pounds body weight. All patients are monitored during anesthesia and treated as needed for pain control. All patients are sent home with appropriate oral pain management. |
