Dog Grooming In Escondido, CA

Hot Diggity Dog Resort Grooming

Our Professional Products and Equipment Make All The Difference.

Well-meaning dog lovers while grooming their dogs at home can unknowingly cause their dogs to have unpleasant side effects.  Some grooming products sold online and in local supply stores can include ingredients that cause allergic reactions.

At Hot Diggity Dog Resort, our groomers use only top professional, high-quality grooming shampoo, conditioner, and coat care. We do not use products that have strong ingredients including toluene, butyl acetate,  or ethyl acetate.

Our professional-grade coat dryers are the best on the market.   The variable speed control is ideal for drying around the face and ears.  And can be used for all-over drying on puppies or dogs that aren't big fans of the drying process.  Our goal at Hot Diggity Dog Resort is that your dog enjoys that grooming process and comes home clean and happy.

Don't Let Dirty Matted Fur Harm Your Dog.

Our Vet tells us that eye problems include tear staining, glaucoma, cataracts, progressive retinal atrophy (PRA), and optic nerve hypoplasia, all can start with debris and dust build-up (eye irritants) around the dog's eyes.   Removing matts, especially ones around and or close to the sensitive eye area can be difficult, even scary, for dog owners trying to groom their dogs at home.

At Hot Diggity Dog Resort, our groomers are skilled in proper techniques and have the right tools for removing matts that form anywhere in your dog's coat, even ones near the eyes!

Stop Nail Neglect that can lead to Health Problems.

We at Hot Diggity Dog Resort are often told by dog lovers that the fear of hurting their dogs is the reason they don't like to trim their dog's nails at home.  As a result, the dog's nails are often neglected and are in danger of creating pain, and can trigger irreversible damage.  Overgrown nails can cause your dog to lose traction and slip on some surfaces resulting in injury.  Some nails can actually become ingrown, causing pain and possible infections.

At Hot Diggity Dog Resort our bathers and groomers have the proper tools and are trained and certified in the correct technique on how to trim your dog's nails while working to keep them as stress free as possible.

De-Shed Session

De-shedding is a way to remove loose, dead hair from your dog’s coat and undercoat before it ends up on your furniture and carpeting, in your car, or in other inconvenient places. It removes loose hair so your dog can be more attractive and more comfortable. A de-shed session on your dog’s coat is a good idea during periods of heavy shedding, before a special event at your home, or during the holidays, when having your dog in good condition is important.

Dental Hygiene

Regular tooth brushing is recommended to keep canine teeth free of tartar and harmful plaque. Unfortunately, busy schedules often don’t leave much time for this additional maintenance for your pet. We provide teeth brushing to help your dog maintain good dental care in order to allow good feeding and nutrition, as well as overall health.
