Our Training Programs
We offer several training programs by the American Kennel Club that are now virtual. Our Socialization Training Activity Responsibility (S.T.A.R.) puppy program is designed to give you and your new friend a good start on your journey together. The virtual S.T.A.R. program focuses on positive reinforcement and basic training.
Our experts also offer a class for dogs one year or older, called the Canine Good Citizen program. It is designed to help you work on behavioral issues with your pet.
Our virtual classes are provided by Think Like A Dog (T.L.A.D.) University. These sessions teach you to think like a dog so that you can develop a relationship and strong bond with your pet. Positive reinforcement and training can help you and your pet accomplish this goal in six weeks.
How Does It Work?
The S.T.A.R. puppy course is broken down into five modules, one per week. They teach your puppy to sit, stay down, stay, and lay. Each week of training reinforces what was learned the week before. This consistent virtual training will condition your pet to listen to commands without trouble.
Our virtual dog training includes pamphlets covering individual learning activities and videos that will teach you to train your pet. Each week's activities build on the previous week's training. Week six of puppy training includes a test and certification for your pet. Then, your puppy can show off all its new skills!
