Dr. Judy Pawlusiow
Position: Ultrasound and Endoscopy MS, DVM Diplomate ACVIM (Internal Medicine)
Education: Dr. Judy Pawlusiow received her DVM from Louisiana State University in 1992. For 10 years prior to veterinary school, she was a clinical research associate in the field of veterinary respiratory physiology and pharmacology, and continued to actively work in this research area during her four years of veterinary school. She then went on to complete her internship and residency in Veterinary Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University in 1995. In 1996 she completed her specialty training in internal medicine, passed her board examinations and was awarded the status of Diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
Accolades: Dr. Pawlusiow is a member of the Veterinary Honor Society of Phi Zeta, the American Veterinary Medical Association, the New York State Veterinary Medical Society, the Long Island Veterinary Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association and the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Pawlusiow also has a Masters Degree in Veterinary Clinical Science - Toxicology from LSU, her thesis research focusing on the effects of heavy metals (lead) in the American alligator in the bayous and estuaries of Southeast Louisiana
In addition to her hospital responsibilities, Dr. Pawlusiow works as a mobile Internal Medicine Specialist providing consultative and diagnostic services in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. She is founder and owner of Advanced Veterinary Mobile Diagnostics, P.C.
Hobbies: An avid hiker and outdoor photographer, Dr. Pawlusiow carries her camera with her so as not to miss a great nature photo-op!
