Meet Stephanie
Every week we want to introduce and let you get to know one of our staff members a little better. We asked each member a set of questions about their hobbies, likes, and memories. We asked different questions than what appear in their bios on the website so you can see what we are like outside of the clinic. Today we walk with Stephanie, who is one of our receptionists.
What is your favorite movie?

What is your favorite hobby?
I enjoy volunteer work for the local children’s charities as well as my own charity organization to support the children of Oklahoma. I help with fund raising as well as organizing silent/live auction items for large events throughout the year.
Do you own any exotic pets?
My current list of pocket pets consists of a rabbit and a guinea pig. I have had rats, chinchillas and turtles in the past however. That’s about as exotic as I get though.
Along with Stephanie's exotic pets they also have their lab named Asscher!
How did you end up working at Danforth Animal?
I worked at an animal clinic for twenty years in Boston before I relocated to Oklahoma seven years ago. I took some time off to be with my youngest kids and then found my current position here at Danforth a year ago.
What is your favorite band and/or genre?
My favorite band would probably be the Eagles or ABBA but in general I mostly listen to country music.
What is your favorite part of the job?
Customer service is the most important thing to me. I believe in encouraging and developing the family/animal bond by education and providing a positive and fulfilling experience while here at our clinic. I love the daily communication and visits we have with our Danforth clients and pets!
Where did you go on your last vacation or day trip?
We rented a large cabin in the mountains of Tennessee with family and enjoyed time in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Nashville.
What is your favorite meal or dish?
I’m originally from New England so pretty much anything to do with seafood. Salmon probably tops the list.
What is your dream vacation?
Anywhere in Europe since I have never been.
