Meet Amanda
Every week we want to introduce and let you get to know one of our staff members a little better. We asked each member a set of questions about their hobbies, likes, and memories. We asked different questions than what appear in their bios on the website so you can see what we are like outside of the clinic. Up first we are going to introduce our receptionists starting with Amanda.
Amanda has worked at Danforth Animal since June of 2016. We start off with a hard hitting question about movies.
What is your favorite movie?
A League of Their Own.
What is your favorite hobby?
Hanging out with my nephews. I also love painting.
Do you own any exotic pets?
Not at this time.
If you could own and raise any pet, what would it be?
A Sloth without question.
What is your favorite band and/or genre of music?
Christ Stapleton. (That might be a genre on its own).
What is your favorite part of the job?
Getting to know the pets and owners.
Where did you go last on a vacation or even a short adventure?
I drove from OKC to San Francisco one summer with friends. We went to a ranch and I got attacked by a cow.
What is one talent you have that you are embarrassed you can do?
Burp on command. No wait, even better I can burp the entire alphabet. (For the coworkers sake, please do not ask Amanda to do this when you come in)!!
What is your favorite dish or meal?
Lasagna
What is something you have done or experienced that you would never do again?
Holding a snake!
Where would your dream vacation be to?
Alaska or New Zealand for sure!
