Behavior Counseling

There are often physical or medical reasons that cause a pet to behave in a manner that is challenging to families.  Coming the Veterinarian will assist you in determining if there are pharmaceutical or treatment needs that may assist in alleviating issues that might drive troublesome behavior.  Medications can also take the edge off of fear that an animal might be feeling while trying to learn new behaviors.

At Alpine behavior consulting services are provided by Certified Canine Behavior Consultant, Beth Broome, and is intended to compliment the medical treatment your pet might receive.  Counseling involves helping you to discover other potential drivers to troublesome behavior such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression and to come up with strategies that might help your pet feel more secure in learning new ways to get what he needs.

Please ask for more information on our program at your next visit or call us if you would like a consult.
