Helping Hoof and Paw

The Helping Hoof and Paw fund was created in 2012 by Alpine Animal Hospital. Our goal is to help all patients receive medical care for their urgent health care needs. Funds are available for non-elective procedures, emergency care, or where treatment is required to significantly improve quality of life for the patient and where there are limited resources to pay for such services.

Funds are available to:

  1. Stray animals (fully funded unless owner can be found).
  2. Clients who qualify for financial assistance for 1 event per year for a maximum of $500.00.
  3. Emergencies brought to the hospital that meets the above qualifications.
  4. When the proposed estimate given is greater than $150.00.

Funds given will be matched by the recipient. The amount given will range from $75 to a maximum of $500. Helping Hoof and Paw funds are to be used for procedures and treatment at Alpine Animal Hospital.

To qualify for funds:

Please write a letter explaining the situation, explaining your financial need and asking for the dollar amount needed in order for your pet to get the treatment it requires. You may write a letter on behalf of a friend or family member.

Submit your letter to Customer Service at 17776 Hwy 82, Carbondale, CO 81623 to start the process.
