Dr. Lindsay Dykstra has joined our veterinary team as an ambulatory associate.

Originally from Connecticut, Dr. Lindsay Dykstra received her bachelors degree from New York University in business and economics. After graduation, she worked in finance in New York then attended Columbia University for a postbaccalaureate degree. Dr. Dykstra earned her DVM from Colorado State University in 2016, where she also enjoyed playing polo.

After receiving her doctorate, Dr. Dykstra completed a surgical and medical internship at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Saratoga, NY where she worked primarily with Thoroughbred racehorses. The following year, Dr. Dykstra completed a second internship at Littleton Equine Medical Center in Colorado where she remained there as an associate clinician. Dr. Dykstra’s interests include emergency and critical care as well as internal medicine.

Dr. Dykstra could not be more excited to be back in New York with her husband Peter and their dog Dewey.
