Dr. Virginia Logue grew up in Rockland County, New York and is excited to live closer to home for the first time in over a decade! Virginia was lucky to be introduced to horses early, as her mom was a riding instructor. Virginia left NY to attend Colorado College for undergrad, where she played lacrosse all four years. Her first job after college inspired her to pursue veterinary medicine. She completed a Master's in Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University, and then stayed on to work in their anatomy lab for a year. Veterinary school brought her to University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, so we know she can withstand the winters! Dr. Logue’s interests are varied, but currently she is most enthusiastic about internal medicine, ophthalmology, and emergency medicine. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, trying new food with friends, and reading. She and her cat Clarence are looking forward to spending the year with us here in RhinebecK.
