We offer dog care for all breeds of dogs, from the strictly indoor small family members to the active, athletic large dogs who are your hiking or hunting buddies! We tailor our vaccination, deworming and care recommendations to your dog’s lifestyle.
Dog Health
We offer a wide variety of in-house testing, for heart worm, intestinal parasites (such as worms and Giardia), blood tests for kidney and liver function, etc. We can have your answers often before you leave the clinic. We offer in house radiology and ultrasound for diagnosing more involved problems. Laporte Animal clinic can do your OFA hip and elbow certification radiographs for breeding dogs!
We believe strongly in educating you in the best possible care of your companion, and involving you in the medical decisions made. Please ask if you have any concerns that are not addressed, so your dog can live a long and healthy life.

We offer a large variety of foods suited to your dog’s needs, including Hills, Royal Canin, Eukanuba, Iams and our new I-vet foods with pure ingredients and no by-products. Ask our knowledgeable staff about the right food for your dog, from special large and small breed puppy, adult and senior foods, to special formulas for skin or stomach problems, to prescription foods for specific medical conditions. We also have a wide variety of joint supplements for older or arthritic dogs.
We offer dental cleanings, tooth extractions if needed, soft-tissue surgeries including bladder surgeries, tumor removals, cosmetic surgeries, orthopedic surgeries and more. We can also either spay or neuter your puppy when the time is right.
