Veterinarian in Fort Collins, CO 

Dr. Katie McCullough grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. She obtained her undergraduate degree from DePaul University in 2009. After a couple of years of non-veterinary related work, she decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She moved to Colorado in 2012 and graduated from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She has practiced in Las Vegas, NM and Longmont, CO over the last 3 years. She has a passion for minimally invasive medicine, preventative care, surgery, and preserving the human-animal bond. One of her biggest goals is to keep your beloved pets healthy and with your family for as long as possible!

Dr. McCullough lives locally with her husband, cat named Skippy, and dog named Emma. When she is not at work, you can find her enjoying the sunshine! She enjoys cooking, ready novels, traveling, trying new restaurants and breweries, and spending time with her pets. She is very excited to be joining the team at Advanced Animal Care!

Dr. Stephanie Beagan was born in Honolulu, HI and grew up in Colorado Springs. At the age of seven, she watched her greyhound's surgery and told her mom that day she would become a veterinarian. Childhood summers were sent on the outskirts of a small Wisconsin dairy town participating in 4-H and harvesting a love for all animals. As a sighthound enthusiast, she melts for dogs with jobs. Her favorite job before veterinary school was working for a podiatry clinic as a medical assistant. While earning her Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University, she enjoyed participating in research, meetings for academic clubs, competing with her dogs, and attending social events. Dr. Beagan is most excited to start her practicing career in an establishment equipped to provide exemplary care. She first stepped foot in Advanced Animal Care of Colorado while an undergraduate and considered working here a dream job. When not in the clinic, she can be found spending quality time with her husband, friends, family, and pets (one cat, Zephyr, and foster greyhounds).

Dr. Tina Chen is originally from the suburbs of Chicago. She moved to Colorado to explore the beautiful Rocky Mountain region, and strives to keep her patients healthy enough to do the same. She graduated from veterinary school at Colorado State University in 2014. During veterinary school, she obtained training in Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians, and she is also a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist. Her professional interests include preventative care, rehabilitation, acupuncture, pain management, and internal medicine. She has had great success using physical rehabilitation and acupuncture to enhance mobility in her furry patients. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, running, and exploring the mountains with her husband and their two dogs, Panda and Porter.
