Dr. Stephanie Beagan was born in Honolulu, HI and grew up in Colorado Springs. At the age of seven, she watched her greyhound's surgery and told her mom that day she would become a veterinarian. Childhood summers were spent on the outskirts of a small Wisconsin dairy town participating in 4-H and harvesting a love for all animals. As a sighthound enthusiast, she melts for dogs with jobs. Her favorite job before veterinary school was working for a podiatry clinic as a medical assistant. While earning her Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences in 2013 and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University in 2019, she enjoyed participating in research, meetings for academic clubs, competing with her dogs, and attending social events. Dr. Beagan is most excited to start her practicing career in an establishment equipped to provide exemplary care. She first stepped foot in Advanced Animal Care of Colorado while an undergraduate and considered working here a dream job. When not in the clinic, she can be found spending quality time with her husband, friends, family, and pets (one cat, Zephyr, and foster greyhounds).
