Our Philosophy
Advanced Animal Care of Colorado and DOG TALES Activity Center was established on the basis of providing the highest quality of veterinary medical care and unparalleled customer service in Fort Collins and the Northern Front Range.
This is accomplished by the following:
We believe in 100% transparency in our practice and have an open door policy. All owners are allowed to walk through our facility to access any department at any time, we have windows on all of our doors and all areas are open for viewing. We invite all owners to be present for any procedure, treatment, hospitalization or surgery that their pet is receiving. We believe this allows trust to build with our owners and our staff as well as aids in allowing the pets to be more comfortable. We are proud of our team, our facility, how we handle the pets and the work that we do – come join us and see for yourself!
We provide a warm, comfortable and low stress atmosphere that is clean and inviting with the latest in technology and medical equipment.
We provide an exceptionally skilled staff that is professional, passionate and empathetic to the pets and the owners that come to our facility. We build real relationships with our clients and the animals that make up their family – we want to be a part of your family by providing care for your pets!
We emphasize a team approach with our pet owners, partnering together on decisions about medical care, treatment outcomes and prognoses. Along with this we openly discuss financial commitments and invite owners to discuss their goals with us without hesitation. We will do our best to work with all situations while maintaining our objective of being advocates for the best patient care.
We are constantly evolving, improving, adopting new technology as well as methods and challenging ourselves to raise the bar on not only available treatment options but also the customer service we provide. We continually seek feedback from our clients so that we can learn and improve to meet your needs!
We are committed to the environment by practicing with the lowest impact by being 100% paperless. We have a computerized medical record keeping system, handle all documents digitally, communicate by email and text, integrate hospital systems digitally and request partnership on this from our clients by allowing us to provide records, invoice and receipts by email. We also recycle, reduce and reuse and are part of the Climate Wise Program of Fort Collins where we received the award for The Environmentally Friendly Small Business of the Year in 2012.
