Claire’s Big Surgery Day!
To keep everyone posted on Claire’s story, she had TPLO surgery weeks ago on both of her knees at the same time. It is rare that we recommend a bilateral major surgery,but Claire was so debilitated with pain and arthritis already that her owners elected to move forward with the plan and became instrumental members of our post-operative rehab team! She was barely walking on both rear legs before surgery, and within hours after the procedure she was bearing weight on both rear legs and walking around the hospital.
Claire also loves her laser therapy, massage, ice sessions, and passive range of motion. Here is another photo of Claire beginning rehab for your enjoyment also.
