At South Franklin Animal Hospital, Dr Cheryl Sammons strives to extend to her clients the highest level of care for owner and pet. She believes in forming lasting, relationships, and bonds with the pet and their family. Her focus on each patient is their medical and emotional health. Each pet is seen as individuals, with customized care and recommendations. This includes vaccines, anesthetic protocols, as well as handling and specific care.

Dr Sammons cooperative approach to her patients includes owner’s support, with no or minimal owner separation from pet.
Owner separation is the NO 1 FAS for our pets, so if possible must be minimized
At SFAH, if FAS is too high, expect reversal sedation to be offered
PVP’s are used extensively by Dr Cheryl to help all patients come into hospital for appointments, drop offs, bathing, boarding, and surgery
Pre Veterinary Prescriptions can reduce FAS, offer pain relief, and be used for pre medications for surgical procedures
FAS can be not only be harmful long term to our pets, but increase vaccine reactions, as well as increase anesthetics for surgery, and increase blood pressure prior to surgery
Dr Sammons is a team with clients to do best for their pets with clear typed communications and treatment plans for cost.
