I think that being born and raised in Klamath Falls helped to develop my love for animals and the outdoors.
One day a trip to Wal-Mart changed my life when I returned home with a dog I named Alfie. Alfie is an amazing companion and I am presently working with him in order for him to achieve a status of service dog. As a trained service dog, Alfie will be used in therapy work. He will happily provide love and comfort to people in many situations including hospitals and retirement homes.
Kahlua, my pit bull's adoption was a very different story as I fell in love with her over the internet. Driving four hours to adopt her, I returned home very happy. My four legged family bonded quickly and are now inseparable.
My boyfriend, Austin, and I routinely enjoy various outdoor adventures but especially love it when we can take the dogs with us. They love running on the beach and off-roading with us.
I started at EVH & BH in May of 2016 as a boarding assistant for the Boarding House. I felt I was at home immediately with the position and loved the responsibility of taking care of all of your pets needs. Playing with our boarders and making them feel loved is probably the best part of my job.
Being surrounded by pets during the day at work and my own dogs at night gives me great satisfaction.
