I have been with EVH & BH since 2004 and actually began as a volunteer while working on my high school senior project in Wildlife Rehabilitation. Over the years, I have worked in every department including boarding and reception. Now most of my time is split caring for our medical and surgical patients.

In my spare time, I worked very hard and went to school. I successfully passed the Veterinary Technician National Exams in 2014 and am very proud that I am now a Certified Veterinary Technician.

Knowing that I am a part of improving the quality of life for my patients, gives me deep joy and satisfaction. My greatest passions include anesthesia, dental procedures and wildlife rehabilitation.

I have a wonderful hubby, Will, and together we have two beautiful daughters, Ava and Alyssa, three dogs, three cats and two birds.

I enjoy traveling, reading and of course my loving family.

My passion for animals at a very early age, drove me to pursue veterinary medicine as a career. I grew up in Manteca, California where my love of animals began. I was raised around an assortment of pets ranging from my best friend Elsie the jersey cow to my mutt dog Buddy.

My great uncle trained Labradors for obedience and field trials and I was always the little girl taggin’ along, throwing bumpers and learning how to communicate with the dogs. I think it was then that I realized that I wanted to spend my life helping animals.

In 2009, I furthered my education and became a veterinary nurse and in 2011, I proudly became a licensed RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician) in California.

Gary, my husband and I decided to move to Oregon and absolutely love it here. I spend what free time I have with my husband, my dog, Lilly and my cats Loki, Beans, and Chalupa aka Loopy.

My move to Oregon will hopefully allow me to pursue my passions of painting and horse back riding. My short term goal is to take my boards allowing me to become a RVT in Oregon. I know my future is bright working with this wonderful hospital and I love and look forward to taking care of all of your fur babies for many years to come.

I started volunteering at Everett Veterinary Hospital & Boarding House and Badger Run Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in 2015 to help achieve my goal of becoming a veterinarian. After four months of volunteering, I was elated to be hired and actually paid while gaining experience and knowledge.

Growing up in Klamath, I enjoy the outdoors and love to camp, hike, snowboard and playing tennis. I started playing the piano when I was five years old and I especially enjoy playing classical music.

In preparation for applying to veterinary school at OSU, I attended OIT and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology in the spring of 2015. Currently I am taking a Penn Foster’s Program to become a licensed veterinary technician.

Although I am incredibly passionate about veterinary medicine in general, my favorite field is surgery with a particular fascination with Orthopedic surgery.

Tanner, my wonderful fiancé and I share our home with 3 loving cats.
