Therapeutic laser
All Pets Animal Hospital proudly offers therapeutic laser services as an adjunct treatment for many conditions.
Our Class IV K-Laser delivers specific red and near-infrared wavelengths of light to bring
energy to damaged tissue, helping them heal. The application of laser energy is a painless and simple process. These specific wavelengths increase metabolic activity within the
cells, which stimulates the transport of nutrients across the cell membrane. This essentially “feeds” the cells, increasing production of cellular energy which helps to accelerate the
healing process.
Laser treatment is simple and painless. Even better, in over 20 years of therapeutic use (both human and veterinary), very few side effects have ever been reported. Laser therapy can be used in conjunction to other forms of therapy, including medical therapy, physical therapy, massage, and soft tissue immobilization.
Before starting laser therapy, the patient must be up-to-date on their yearly exam and must have a diagnosed condition for which our veterinarians have recommended laser therapy.
