To encourage clients to choose safe, high quality spays and neuters for their pets, we have recently reduced the prices of our dog and cat spays and neuters. But even though we have dropped prices, our high quality hasn't changed. Here's what makes our surgeries different:

Pets Animal Hospital. Each one of our staff members is kind, helpful, intelligent and willing to help.
Our surgical nurses are experienced and skilled. No staff member is ever allowed to monitor surgery until we are sure they well trained and understand the subtleties of patient anesthesia.
What this means is that the person in the surgery room with your doctor knows how to keep your pet safe!
Our Anesthesia: We always attempt to use the safest anesthesia possible. In most cases, that means using Propofol induction agent and Sevoflurane gas anesthesia; the same anesthesia used in human hospitals!
Fluids: Nearly all of our surgeries include an intravenous catheter with IV fluids given during surgery. This helps keep up the pet's blood pressure and allows for a smoother recovery. Also, in the highly unlikely event of an anesthetic complication, the IV Catheter gives us instant access to the vein, saving precious time.
Pain Medication: Because we believe strongly in your pet's comfort, our surgeries include pain medication, both during surgery and to go home.
Our Equipment: During surgery, your pet will rely on several important pieces of equipment. Part of good medicine includes keeping these parts clean, calibrated and up to date. We take the time to make sure that all of our equipment stays in top shape.
Surgical Monitoring: Anesthetic monitoring could be the difference between life and death during a procedure. Our staff is well trained to recognize early signs of trouble in the surgery room. Your pet is also monitored by advanced equipment which records not only heart rate, but blood oxygen saturation, CO2 transfer, blood pressure and EKG reading.
Patient Support: Anesthesia can be taxing on a patient's body, but a lot can be done to minimize any strain making anesthesia safer and recovery more smooth. While under anesthesia, your pet will be assisted by a ventilator, IV fluids and a body warming system. The ventilator essential breathes for the pet, ensuring adequate oxygen saturation and even levels of anesthesia. The IV fluids provide important electrolytes and hydration while helping maintain blood pressure. Finally, an animal can lose a lot of necessary body heat during anesthesia. We use heated surgery tables and warm air blankets to help prevent body heat loss. This helps keep your pet safe and comfortable during anesthesia and aids in a smoother recovery.
Time: We don't overbook surgeries. We feel that taking our time for each procedure and allowing time for unforseen complications is important to quality care.
