Doctor Anders is shown here checking the pulse of a standard bred horse.
Pulse Diagnosis is a Chinese Therapeutic Medicine that allows the Doctor to match the animals pulse to his own. There are 12 pulses in the human hand and each pulse determines the outcome of the functions of major organs. An example is the liver. The liver controls the amount of anger one possesses at any given time. The kidneys (another example) control the anxiety. Other organs include the spleen which controls the major digestive system, and the heart controls the emotions.
