MAKING YOUR PET'S APPOINTMENT

dogs

In order to make arrangements for your pet's spay or netuer surgical reservation, give us a call and set up your pet's Pre-Surgical Nurse Examination.  This examination ideally should be performed within 1-2 weeks prior to the scheduled surgery date.  Our veterinary nurse will discuss and explain your pet's specific surgical treatment plan and provide you with an estimate.

We perform routine surgeries on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Set up your pet's surgery appointment 1-2 weeks in advance if you have a specific day or week in mind.

On the day of your pet's surgery, he/she will need to be dropped off at the hospital between 8:30-9:00am.  If you are unable to drop your pet off in the morning (i.e. for work reasons), we are able to make alternative arrangements to admit your pet into hospital.

NOTE:  All pets must be fully vaccinated at least 10 days prior to their surgical appointment.  Surgical appointments must be made within 3 weeks of the Pre-Anesthetic Bloodscreen.   Results of the Pre-Anesthetic Bloodscreen are considered accurate for only 3 weeks.  After 3 weeks, another Bloodscreen will need to be performed if the surgery is not performed.
